A sassy violinist who lives next door.
An obsessed rock star who watches her through binoculars.
And one night when she bares it all.
Life will never be the same in Tinseltown.
Vital Rejects front guy Sebastian Tate never imagined his YouTube music video would go viral, sky-rocketing him to acting success in Hollywood. Okay, maybe he did. After all, he’s a cocky dude who knows he’s hot-as-hell, and it was only a matter of time before his stars aligned.
But life in Tinseltown is never what it seems.
After being cheated on by his ex-lover, his only rule to falling in love is simple: Keep Calm and Don’t Do It. So, spying on his mysterious new neighbor with binoculars seems innocent enough, but quickly escalates into an erotic game between two very unlikely people.
Twenty-year-old Violet St. Lyons is a world-renowned violinist who's lost her mojo on stage. She hides away in a Hollywood mansion, trying to find her way through her twisted past in order to make her future.
He’s the life of the party with girls chasing him down for his autograph. She’s the introvert with a potty mouth who doesn’t even know who he is.
When they meet, stars collide, sparks fly, and clothes come off. Yet, giving his heart to a girl isn’t Sebastian’s plan; falling for a guy who craves attention isn’t Violet’s.
Welcome to Briarcrest Academy—Hollywood style—where sometimes the best things in life are VERY TWISTED THINGS.

The opening of Very Twisted Things took me by complete surprise. I kept hoping it was a dream and that Violet St. Lyons was going to wake up at any moment. Alas, Violet suffers immensely in the beginning of the book. Her entire world comes crashing down in a matter of minutes. It was heartbreaking reading about her loss. Yet, when I think about it the opening was brilliant. It was extraordinarily well written, and it immediately gave me a deep connection to Violet's character. In order to cope with her devastation, she hides away in a Hollywood mansion, living a shell of her former life. What she doesn't count on is her sexy new neighbor.
"Two years ago, I'd been a girl surrounded by fairy dust."
"The truth was, the real Violet died that day in the Atlantic."
Sebastian Tate is living out his dream every day. His latest music video with Vital Rejects went viral, he's being considered for a huge new movie role, and he's dating Hollywood's "It" girl of the moment. By night, he's spying on his new neighbor, fantasizing, and yearning for something more.
"We're famous, and all you want to do is wait for her to come out. He shook his head. It's right odd how you fancy her."
Very Twisted Things was HOT! The sex was on fire - and even the non-sex scenes were sexy as hell! Who knew that a rocker and a violinist would light up the sheets? The covert spying just added another dimension to the sexiness of the book and I loved it!
"It still didn't stop me from holding my breath, silently begging her to bare herself to me. She'd already laid bare her music. Part of me needed the rest of her. She jerked the robe closed, making me groan in disappointment. And then she did something completely crazy. The lonely girl next door flipped me the bird."
There was so much to this book that I enjoyed - Violet was funny and strong. Even though she was traumatized, she also knew how to stand up for herself. She didn't let anyone push her around. Sebastian was sweet, sexy, and sometimes a bit clueless - but I loved him. There was just enough angst to keep me happy. The matchmaking dog, "Monster" was adorable as was the side cast of characters. We get a nice introduction to the couple of the next story as well. The whole book was really a delight to read - right up until the epilogue. I must admit that I was quite disappointed in the epilogue. It was too over the top for me. That being said I'm willing to overlook the epilogue because everything else was simply fabulous! 4 stars for Very Twisted Things! Enjoy!
