Review: LILA AND ETHAN: FOREVER AND ALWAYS by Jessica Sorenson

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Ella and Micha series comes a story of love, risks, and rewards . . .

Lila Summers just wants to know one thing for certain: that Ethan Gregory will be with her always. Once her friend, he's become so much more, melting the pain of her past away with each kiss. Now Lila is on a road trip with Ethan, in the wilderness under the stars, and she can't imagine her life without him. But when she talks about the future, something in Ethan changes . . .

Ethan has no doubts about his feelings for Lila. His life with her gets better every day-and that's the scary part. How can he walk into a future where he has everything to lose? With Lila, his whole heart is on the line for the very first time. But if Ethan can't give her the promise she needs, his greatest fear might come true: he'll lose Lila for good.

REVIEW

Lila and Ethan: Forever and Always finds our favorite couple on their road trip.  We get a glimpse into their life out in the wilderness together.... and they are HOT.  Seriously they make wilderness sex sound awesome!  Yet, Lila still has reservations.  Mostly because she wants to know that Ethan is in this with her Forever and Always.  She needs to know that when this trip is over they will still be together.

"As long as Ethan's with me, I'm fine with being cold, getting covered in pine needles, and eating beans straight from a can.  I could do all those things with him forever."

"I don't even want to think about being on this trip alone.  Yeah, I love the quiet, but it could never compare to all the moments we've shared together."

This is a sweet and short novella, and (as of this writing) it is free! I love free stuff... and free stuff from Jessica Sorenson is even better!  I really loved reading about Lila and Ethan being happy together (especially after all they went through to get together)!  We get a glimpse into both characters through the alternating POVs and also Ethan's notebook.  I can't write too much and spoil the novella, but it was a great revisiting this (now) sweet and lovey-dovey duo!
